Why choose Innolog?
- Certified for air transport with dry ice
The Innolog Dry Ice is one of the few data loggers to hold DO160 and IATA PI970 II certifications, which authorise its use during air shipments involving dry ice. This is an essential requirement for international pharmaceutical and biotechnology shipments.
- Instant reading on the LCD screen
Unlike data loggers without a display, the Innolog Dry Ice allows you to view the current temperature, the recorded maximum and minimum values (max/min), the MKT and the alarm status in real time. No connection to a computer is required for a quick check whilst in transit.
- Automatic shutdown when connected via USB
When the logger is connected to the computer, it stops automatically and generates PDF and CSV reports without any further action being required. The validation certificate is stored directly in the device’s memory.
- Long-term storage prior to use
With a shelf life of up to 16 months before use, Innolog Dry Ice can be ordered from stock and used as and when required, without any short-term expiry constraints.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about Innolog Dry Ice
What is the temperature range of the Innolog Dry Ice?
The Innolog Dry Ice operates between -80°C and +65°C. Its accuracy is ±0.5°C between -20°C and +40°C, and ±1°C outside this range.
Is Innolog Dry Ice approved for air transport?
Yes. It is DO160 and IATA PI970 II certified, which authorises it to operate in active mode during air transport using dry ice. This is a specific requirement for pharmaceutical and biotechnology air shipments.
How do I get the temperature report?
Connect the Innolog Dry Ice to a computer’s USB port. The device will switch off automatically and generate a PDF report and a CSV report. The validation certificate can also be accessed from the device’s memory.
How long can the device record for?
The Innolog Dry Ice can record data for up to 30 days at 5-minute intervals, which equates to up to 16,000 data points.
Can the device be stored before use?
Yes. Innolog Dry Ice can be stored for up to 16 months before use, which allows you to maintain a buffer stock without the risk of losing calibration.
What is the difference between Innolog Dry Ice and Innolog Pro?
The Innolog Pro is designed for standard cold chain temperatures (from -30°C to +70°C) and is DO-160G certified for air transport. The Innolog Dry Ice is specially designed for the ultra-low temperatures (down to -80°C) associated with the use of dry ice. It is also IATA PI970 II certified, which is mandatory for air shipments using dry ice. The two products complement each other depending on the nature of the goods being transported.
